Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

Ok so as always I am very late to the game on this one! However I love this product so much that I felt the need to share it on here!!

I had been suffering with horrid skin and I knew I had to do something to sort it. I had got lazy with any sort of skin care routine, especially when it came to bed time!! After a long day chasing a one year old, the las thing on my mind was taking off my make up!!

However when morning came and it was time to do my make up for the day, I would find myself, struggling to get foundation to sit right, and my skin always felt dull and dry. Something had to change!

I'd read many reviews on this product, and thought I'd give it a go. From the first time I used it, I instantly fell in love with it, and raved about it to any one who would listen! It is basically a two step cleanser, the first step - massaging the rich and creamy formula into your skin, the second - polishing it away with the muslin cloth.

I love this as it is suitable for all skin types, it is plant based and it's natural ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter, not to mention it smells so clean and feels so fresh on the skin!

You massage the cleanser onto dry skin, with your full face of make up, work it into the skin even rubbing over your eyes! It instantly dissolves make up and even mascara! You then take the muslin cloth and run it under warm water, ring it out and wipe away all your make up! It is so easy and you really are left with such clean feeling skin!

I always used to hate wearing mascara as I always hated the hassle of removing it at night, using a ton of cotton pads or face wipes! With this I have worn mascara every day, as there's literally no hassle in removing it now! I have never used anything so quick and easy before, and I feel this is a complete must have in my skin care routine now! It does say to use morning and night, but I only use at night.

It is a little pricey - I got the starter kit from boots as it comes with two muslin cloths.  This was £15.50 for the 100ml. It has however lasted me for just over two months, using everyday.

I must mention as well when I first started using it, I did get a few break outs, but I have read others had the same, and it is just the product really clearing out your skin! Using this though, if I do get any breakouts now, they tend to disappear a lot quicker and I don't get them very often at all!!

Have you tried the Cleanse and Polish? What are your favourite skin care items? :)
