We had a really good day at work on friday, almost felt like old times. We had a fancy dress day for comic relief. The option was to wear red or fancy dress. I was feeling pretty blah about it all, so fully intended to only wear red, that was until the following morning when with 20 minutes until work i decided, i needed to dress up.. i love it! Dom went into the loft and dug out my pirate hat, and i threw together a quick pirate costume.. loved it!!
Its strange really how much more happy and confident you feel dressed in your own clothes. My work uniform is far too big for me, it makes me feel frumpy and horrible. If i could hide away all day, then i surely would. Wouldn't we all work better if we could just be ourselves? Does anyone else out there have a horrible uniform they have to wear?!
I won't even begin, on tattoo's in the work place.. but for sure id love a discussion with people about it, so maybe il post a blog soon.
Life is still feeling pretty good, dom and i are settling into a routine of living together, we're loving it. He's so easy to live with... i wonder if he thinks the same about me lol
We also have a beautiful new addition to the family, Olivia was born on the 8th March, i went to see her the other day and she is gorgeous!!
For now im enjoying the simple things in life, and trying to learn to live for now and not worry about the past or the future, just live for now and deal with things as/when/if they happen.
I believe and always have, that everything happens for a reason, if things are meant to be then they will, if not then they won't.
I look forward to what life has in store for me. :)
