Bank Holiday Fun!

It's always hard to make any plans for a fun day out in England especially as the weather seems to change every five minutes!!

We decided we really wanted to go somewhere seeing as it was a bank holiday and Dom had an extra day off! Skye has been so well behaved lately that we really wanted to do something that she would enjoy and have a day of fun! She has really been enjoying using her scooter since she decided to brave it and give it a go! We gave it to her for her birthday back in November, but she has always just pulled it around or pushed it along while walking next to it! She was always a bit nervous to climb on  and push with one foot. Until one day she must have been feeling brave and just went for it! Ever since she has been unstoppable! She's getting really good at pushing off on it and steering it as well! 

So we decided to take her to the beach where she would have a nice big stretch of path to ride along on! To begin with she was a little shy as it was quite busy and there were a lot of people around, but again once she found her confidence she was away!! 

It makes my mama heart so happy to see her so happy and proud of herself! She is growing up so quickly, but it is such a joy to see! 

She has also been talking about the beach a lot lately (Thanks Peppa!) So we took her wellies and she went for a little stomp around on the sand as well!

I also remembered to bring my selfie stick.. coz you know i'm a cool mom now ;) haha I had it for christmas and always forgot to take it anywhere.. but not today!! 

I'm so glad we waited it out, as when we arrived it was so windy and pouring with rain! Despite being sunny when we left home! What did I say about the weather.... !! I was gutted that Skye might not get to use her scooter after all... ! But luckily the weather was in our favour and the sun came out! 

I love simple family days, where it costs nothing to have fun! Spending time together and just enjoying simple things.
