When I was younger i always used to think how exciting it would be to be grown up, be able to drive, have freedom, my own place, my own money... turns out it's scary!
The more i begin to realise how much older i'm getting and how much i really need to start planning for other big life events, the more scary it becomes! When you have these exciting dreams as a child/teenager, you really don't stop to think about the scary side of things! Leaving behind a life you've always known, making decisions for yourself and having no one to blame but yourself when things go wrong!
If we didn't make mistakes we'd never learn, but in knowing that it doesn't make it any easier!
So as me and my boyfriend begin to discuss our future and things we want, i'm beginning to wish i'd listened to my parents and saved more when i was younger! Its' so hard to save so much when you earn so little!.. I work full time and so does he, so how can we earn more.. how can we pay for everything? Home, car, food, bills...Scary!!!
I know i'm not the only one in this position, so i'm finding it useful reading about other peoples money saving tips and advice on this kind of thing..
Gosh how i miss only having to worry about which shoes to wear to school!!
