Pumpkin Patch and Halloween!

Once again another October has flown by, we had a great one, Skye talked non stop about halloween the whole month! 

She got really in to it this year and kept asking when we could decorate the house! 

We decided to go back to the pumpkin patch we visited last year, but this year we went earlier and there were so many more pumpkins! I think we will probably end up visiting here every year now! It is perfect as its small and quiet! I looked around for others but they were all ones you had to pay for as they had other activities available. 

We all prefer something a little more quiet and where we can do our own thing so this place is perfect for us!

For halloween we carved our pumpkins and had a little party at my mums house, sadly though Skye Bee ended up being poorly for the day so didn't end up enjoying it as much as she would have! She kept her spirits up though and still wanted to have her face painted and dress up!

So that's October for another year! Now on to Skye Bee's FOURTH (what?!!) birthday!

Goodbye October!

October was full of fun!

It's always a fun month, where Autumn really feels in full swing. Halloween is obviously the best part of October, and we made sure to make the most of our spooky decorations and put them up on the first!

I always enjoy picking out something new each year to decorate the home with and our halloween decorations are fast becoming as exciting to put up as the christmas ones! I've enjoyed putting on the spooky fairy lights every evening and lighting our candles! The house has felt super cosy once all the lights are twinkling and candles are flickering!

Skye enjoyed halloween this year, kind of! There were times when she was scared and times when she loved it! She enjoyed carving her pumpkin and all the dressing up of course!

She especially enjoyed having her face painted and painting Auntie Carms!!

Pumpkins!!

I've always loved October and halloween in particular!

We wanted to do something different this year that we hadn't done before with Skye and decided to try and find a pumpkin patch so she could run around and find her perfect pumpkin!

However finding somewhere near to us to go was proving difficult until we found one in Sherborne. I'd never been to this place before so didn't really know what to expect! Luckily their pumpkin patch opened on the weekend I was off work! This never happens as I'm usually working when something we want to do comes around!!

Skye was booked in to have an injection on the Saturday so we kept our fingers crossed for nice weather on the Sunday!!

On the drive down Skye was super excited as she's really got in to halloween this year!

I was quite surprised how small the pumpkin patch was when we arrived, but it was all laid out and looked pretty cute!! It was sunny as well so a perfect day to wander! Luckily we were the only people there for a while too as it was super quiet so Skye had a lot of fun stomping around in her wellies and we got some cute pictures of her too! She especially enjoyed daddy pulling her around in the cart!

We didn't stay too long but had such a fun time.

I definitely want to look for a bigger place to go next year! I'd love to be in America for October and visit one of their pumpkin patches!!
