Goodbye October!

October was full of fun!

It's always a fun month, where Autumn really feels in full swing. Halloween is obviously the best part of October, and we made sure to make the most of our spooky decorations and put them up on the first!

I always enjoy picking out something new each year to decorate the home with and our halloween decorations are fast becoming as exciting to put up as the christmas ones! I've enjoyed putting on the spooky fairy lights every evening and lighting our candles! The house has felt super cosy once all the lights are twinkling and candles are flickering!

Skye enjoyed halloween this year, kind of! There were times when she was scared and times when she loved it! She enjoyed carving her pumpkin and all the dressing up of course!

She especially enjoyed having her face painted and painting Auntie Carms!!

Here are some snaps from our October!

Now we look forward to Skye's birthday month and our baby girl turning THREE! (HOW?!)

Skye's First Halloween

I was VERY excited for halloween this year as it was Skye's first halloween!!

We bought her costume a few weeks before and I couldn't wait to put her in it! She loved it when we tried it on her! I knew I wanted to make it a great day and have great photos to remember it! Even though I know some people don't like halloween or see what all the fuss is about, I personally love it, and love any excuse to dress up, decorate the house and have fun!

So.. that's what we did! We decorated, we dressed up and we sure had fun! We got Skye into her outfit that morning and as it was such a beautiful day decided to venture to the park to take her halloween pictures as we thought it would look great and autumny! We packed the pumpkins into the car and drove just round the corner! (who wants to carry all those pumpkins!!) Only when we got there we noticed that the patch of grass just outside of the entrance to the park looked way better and there were a lot of kids in the park so we decided to do our photos here instead! It was perfect!! Lots of leaves and the sun was shining!! :) Skye was an angel as always and loved playing with the leaves and pumpkins as me and Dom took pictures of her.

We then had a mini party in the evening, and Skye got to see her first fireworks before she went to bed! :)

Can't wait for Christmas with her now, even though it will be her second Christmas, this year she may be a little more interested!!

Anyway here are some photos from the day!

life and lovelies...

So two weeks ago yesterday my boy came to live with me, it has been so much fun living together!!
I don't know if its the fact that we spent a year and a half being so far apart and having our time together be so limited that's made it feel so good, or if it's like this for everyone! I've never lived with a boyfriend before, not properly, so i wasn't really sure what to expect. Of course i had the usual worries of, what if we argue, what if things change once we see each other everyday, what if he decides im unbearable to live with! But i guess thats just the chance you have to take, otherwise no one would ever live with anyone!
So far though its been great, getting to have cuddles every night, wake up together, eat together, he drops me off at work on days i don't feel like driving, and he's always there waiting when i finish :)
He's managed to get in a bit of work aswell, so things should start picking up soon, especially as the weather improves.

So far life is feeling pretty good, we have lots to look forward to and now we can actually start planning things. He's made a huge sacrifice for me, moving all the way here for me. I'll be forever greatful. I love how much he loves me and i love how happy we are together. For so long i felt it was impossible to live this life, then he came along and changed everything.

' Our hears need to be broken so that they can open'

' Good things fall apart, so that better things can fall together..'

i love these two quotes, i've never before thought things so true :)

happy happy happy :)
